New Logo- How To Make Your Own June 18, 2008
Posted by Chaim Gartenberg in : How-To , 4commentsAlrighty, for all those who noticed the new logo, here’s some stuff I have to do. I’d like to credit the sources of the techniques used in making the logo: Both are from my prime site for Photoshop tutorials, PSDTuts. The two main tutorials I used were as follows:
For the awesome glowing text effect, I used this tutorial: http://psdtuts.com/text-effects-tutorials/create-a-layered-glowing-text-effect/, with some modifications for size and color.
For cool glowy lines, I used a technique from this tutorial: http://psdtuts.com/tutorials-effects/advanced-glow-effects/.
The logo was done in Adobe Photoshop CS3 (Demo) and the theme of the blog is one of the Wordpress themes called Regulus.

Our new logo!!!!
Some of you may have noticed that we just put up Chaim’s new logo– he will have a post on how he did it for all you brave enough to make your own– for the site today. I personally think it looks pretty cool, but we would like to know all of your thoughts on both the new logo, and on how were doing in our “job”- we don’t get payed so it not really a job- on helping teenagers with tech.

New Things Happening at TeenTechBlog part 2 June 16, 2008

1. We added a new writer to the team- Aidan Galea from Melbourne, Austrailia. (That right; he’s from the land Down Under). He’s 17, a music lover, and most importantly, he writes about technology excellently– as you shall soon see. How did we come in contact? Why, by him emailing us through the Contact Us page at the top. Anyway, we know all you readers will enjoy his added, “Aussi” presence.
2. Chaim is designing a site logo– and its insanely cool. And of course, he’ll post a quick guide for you to make your own– for whatever purpose you may find use for it– sometime during the coming week. So, as always, Stay Tuned
