We know a lot of you out there are really excited about the new Instinct App Store, and all the apps that could come with it. Unfortunately, today is October 10 and we got no new word for you. The latest news from the Instinct Developer page is that they’re still reviewing Apps to find out who wins the contest (for all the details on this Instinct contest, we wrote about it here).

We did though see on the Gizmodo that a new Pandora app — enabling you to listen to streamed music on your phone (already available for free on the iPhone) — is out for the Instinct (though it will cost you $3 a month to use).

Maybe Sprint is starting to slowly release Apps, one by one. I really hope that isn’t the case, and they will just release an App Store with everything there, but hey, better something then nothing.

We’ll keep you updated with anything new coming out on this. Until then, feel free to post any thoughts or wishes you have for new Apps as well as what you think of the Pandora app if you got it, in the comments.

I would love to see a shopping list app where you can move items to sort them for your particular store habits (you know, always go to produce, then dairy, then meat, then bread, etc.). Maybe it starts as a generic list you can click to add an item, but type stuff in too. Then you could check off the items once you put them in your cart which would hide them. Then you could save the list for later…or maybe it’s smart and brings up your most used items or something.

I guess it could also have a calculator attached to each item that tallies how much you will spend, and a running tally of how much your groceries cost so far.

That would be cool. I’d totally use it.

Thanks for the update on the non-app thing. I’ve been waiting.

Not surprising. Sprint, once again, is late and leaves its customers disAPPointed.

There isn’t gonna be an “app store” for the instinct. Its gonna be in the digital lounge area. Should have checked the App developers forum first.

its funny how sprint ALWAYS comes out with a date when things will be released and nothing has been released on time!

Pandora is very GOOD but on the instinct it stops plaing music when a button is pressed….
