T-Mobile Sidekick

Today T-Mobile decided to update their most popular cell phone series- you know the Sidekicks, and have released a successor to the cool (and cheap) Sidekick iD called the T-Mobile Sidekick (again great name). For all the info, including some of the cool new features in this new version of the phone, hit the More link.

Features:

  • Same thin, cool design with swivel screen and full keyboard
  • 2.0 Megapixel Camera with Video Capture!!!
  • Full Web Browser- showing the “real internet”
  • MyFaves support
  • Mp3 Player and Video Player- the phone also comes with 512 MB Micro SD card and a Micro USB cable for syncing and playing songs and videos right out of the box.
  • Swappable Shells (the cover of the phone) that you can customize online (click here)- coolest part of the phone for sure, and really follows the Sidekick iD’s multiple color idea.

This T-Mobile Sidekick is available now from T-Mobile’s site for $149.99 with a new 2 year contract.

What you think- this the phone T-Mobile needed to keep you with them (and not go after the iPhone 3G for AT&T, LG Chocolate 3 or Dare for Verizon, or even the Samsung Instinct for Sprint), and is this phone going to make you even want to go and sign up for T-Mobile? Let us know in the comments.
