New Gmail Labs June 8, 2008

One of Google’s lesser known features is Google Labs, which allows you to try out beta (future products which aren’t yet ready for prime time) features of Google. Several days ago, Google released a similar feature for Gmail, called Gmail Labs, which allows you to try out beta features of Gmail as well. These include things like hotkeys, different types and levels of stars, mouse gestures, and a built-in version of Snake, one of my favorite games. To check it out, go to Settings and click on Labs in your Gmail account. It should be noted that these are demo features, and may not work perfectly.
