There are a variety of Flash games on the internet that I’ve played recently, but none quite as good as Fancy Pants Adventure 2. The basic premise is that a rabbit has stolen your ice cream and you journey throughout several platforming worlds to retrieve it. However, like most Flash games, plot is not the central core of the game. What is the point, and where the game truly excels, is in playing it. The gameplay is simple, yet your flamboyantly dressed stick figure manages to keep you entertained and involved with jumps, flips, slides, and rolls that are incredibly fun to use. A perfectly fitting hand drawn art style accompanies it. But as I said, the gameplay is the most fun. You run through forests, cities, upside down, flipping off spiders onto springs, sliding down hills, all at breakneck speed, extravagant maneuvers, and incredibly cool pants. Sure, there are secrets and side quests (unlocking different color pants), to prolong the game, (it’s short – about 20 mins for the main levels, and about another 30 if you want to get all the secret rooms, trophys, and colors), but it really is one of the most fun online games I’ve ever played.
